In 2009 the Carmel Amelia School of Dance was the pilot school for the Australian Ballet Companie's "Dance the Dream" promotion. Students had classes with two of the company dancers: Mr. Mark Cassidy and Miss Vivian Wong. A professional photo shoot took place throughout the day and many of those photos can still be seen in the Australian Ballet Company's promotions.
